my week in Paris...

Just as you are suspecting... my week in Paris was full of wine, cheese, walking, museums, strange smells, beautiful people, unbelievably beautiful architecture, rude waiters, parks, weird tourists, crazy pigeons, sketching and a bit of shopping. If I didn't have family to come back to - I probably wouldn't come back. I'd just live with the pigeons (on the grounds of Pompidou Centre)... and listen to funny touristy conversations, steal their baguette sandwiches and make friends with elegant Parisian women. I already miss the daily wine and the amazing coffee everywhere.

oh, this is so wonderful to see! I'm daydreaming of a Paris visit next year, and just gobbled up your photos & words about your week there.
I look forward to my future rude waiter experiences & much wine, cheese & baguettes. :)
p.s. the photo of you in the Paris apartment? dreamy! (I hope to find one just like that & duplicate that scene of sitting & reading in front of an open Parisian window)

I love Paris. I went when I was 16 and have dreamt of going back ever since. I'm so jealous of your picnic in the park. Looks scrumptious.
Oh and I love your little head sketches, they are adorable!

I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed lately between battling enough time with my little pumpkin (daughter Marlie) and getting my little art shop up and running... thanks for whisking me away in your dreamland vacation :) I needed to escape for a moment or two. :) Looks like you had an incredible time :) Someday I hope to be doing the same thing :)
